Myth: Drinking coffee young will cause you to be short.
Fact: This is nothing but a wives tale. There is absolutely zero proof that the consumption of coffee will stunt growth in any way.
Parents tend to allow their children to drink soda, tea or other caffeinated beverages, but they often draw the line at coffee. That old wives tale of how coffee will stunt their children's growth is often lurking in the back of their minds.
Good news though, even though this myth has been around since the 1900s, there hasn't been one shred of proof that their is any validity to this myth.
